Default 2001 Artic Cat 250 4x4 as first ATV?

Is that a good idea? I bought a new yamaha Blaster two weeks ago. My dad took it for a ride and he now wants one. You think this would be good for a 45 year old guy. He doesn't want to bounce around to much. He likes power but doesn't need raptor power. Good idea? The atv we're looking at is in good condition, a few scrapes on the fenders for $2450.......good price? TIA

I don't know about a lot of power, but not underpowered. If it helps he likes the power that the blaster has.

its got a different sort of power than a blaster, the blaster is a sport and a 2 stroke quad its got power for accel and speed, the arctic cat has power for pulling, and pushing and mud, snow, climbing, anything that involves hard work, yea the ac 250 has alot of torque and low end power, i would recomend it
