Good Deal ????
2001 Raptor with very low hours probably max of 20hours....
Engine is spotless..... Now for the bad part bike has been rolled twice...

Bike needs new steering stem..... New Clutch lever, new front left tire ..
Cosmetically the bike will eventually need new plastic but it is rideable.

I can get this bike for $3200 as is.... Sounds like a good deal but I am a Honda man so I am not sure how much parts are on a Yamaha.

Any input on parts costs would be appreciated... I also anticipate needing to redo the tranny gears eventually but bike is perfect now.

Thats a pretty good deal. You are allready aware of the tranny so buy the replacement parts off e-bay or go for broke and get aftermarket parts either way its a fair deal.

 

Dude that deal sucks.Did the Rappy have the tranny upgrade?01's trannys suck and most will break down.Also id say if you look around you could find a 01 Raptor for $3500 that hasnt been wrecked.PM me i know of an 01 close to me im sure you could buy cheap. late,zubbeyboy

Sounds like a good deal to me. I say buy it an spend a little money moddin' it. My '01 Raptor is so wicked that only the BIG banshees and DS(s) will play w/ me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Get as far away from that 01 Raptor as possible. When you have better means, get farther away.

 

Thats a steal MSRP I think is something like $6500.00 NEW, and it's almost as fast as a Banshee and faster than a 400EX

I would buy it, Yamaha parts like Honda parts are never going to be cheep, but are compairable on price...
