Pic of a kodiak 400 with snow tracks

Heres a kodiak 400 sporting a set of tracks. I was very impressed with the speed, turning radius and where he could take the machine.

Yea, why is he being pulled by that dog then?
I could have used that with a plow this past weekend. Woud like a set of those just for the rear of the new KFX700. Maybe it could serve double duty as a sport quad and a utility quad for pushing some snow around.

The picture is almost an optical illusion, there is a dog team about 30 feet to the right of the atv.
I think you would need the tracks on the front or it would just nose dive in deep snow. He was in 4 feet of snow when the pic was taken.

Actually several years ago Dirt Wheels did an article on just a system for a 2wd ATV. They had tracks in the back and skis in the front. There test vehciles were a Banshee and a Warrior. They said the Warrior needed more motor. I think it is was called Snow-Traxx or something like that.
