Default Mikuni Carb?????

I purchased a Dynojet kit for my Predator and before I attempt to install the jets and all I would like a breakdown of the carb. The only thing I have is the service manuel that I made a copy of from off of the Polaris site. I went to the mikuni site and they do not have anything on the 42MM BSR carb. Does anyone know where I can find any info????

The service manual is the only one i know of, but the needle clip diagram is incorrect in the pic. only the thin washer and nylon spacer go under the c-clip, thick washer goes above
the c-clip and under spring.

My advice is carbs aren't very diffucult just take it apart slowly and take mental pictures and remeber where stuff goes. I don't know how mechanically inclined you are but most of the hoses are self explanatory and over all it is pretty simpe to figure out. I wouldn't worry about getting all the diagrams because the one you have in your service manual is probally the best one you are going to get because a mikunin diagram wouldn't show you where all the hoses hook up and get routed because it varies slightly by application. Well good luck I hope this gives you some self confidence with it. Later, Seth

Thank You both for your help. I have done work to carbs in the past but I am not to sure about this one. When it comes to drilling(air mixture plug) and stuff I get a little nervous.

You might also be able to get a little info from your local tech. Don't expect them to tell you everything (their paycheck relys on your service patronige), but a question here and there can't hurt.
