Scrambler Fox Shox
#1
Does anybody know the Fox Shox extended length, retracted length, and the diameter of the spring (not the wire dia. but the whole spring)? I would like to put these on my Trailboss 325.

I hate to see someone's question go unanswered. Are you asking about the Fox shocks for the front (the units Hot Seat sells)? Or are you asking about the rear shock? It's busy season, so if I don't get back to you for a few days, don't get discouraged, I'll try to get the info.

I have the units in the shop from a 99 Sport. I'll try to get them measured in the morning. People are gonna have to help me out on the effective year. I think the 2001 and later used a longer travel shock, and different mounting point. So if any of them would fit, it would be the 2000 and older.

2000 Model is when the added travel came into play on the Scrambler Line (10.5")
99 models still had 8.2"
Anything from a 99 and prior Rear shock should bolt right on.
I put one on our 2001 Trailblazer, You will notice a nice difference.
The 2000 and up models use a 2 stage spring, they are even better, but you would need to change the swing arm from what I hear.
Hope this helps

Ken and Bubahyde, arent the 99 Sports the only thing that has the long travel just like the newer scramblers? My 99 had the same travel and suspension as my wife's 01 Scramble only without the resevior on the rear fox shock.Bubba
