Default Scrambler 400 silencer

Hi guys,

I'm curious about something. There is 2 bolts on the stock silencer of my Scrambler 400 . I know it is use to remove the carbon inside the silencer but I also notice that it is not louder without the bolts. If I don't put back those 2 bolts, do you think the motor could breathe freer and be more powerful ? Or it could do the opposite ?

Thanking you in advance,

Steve

It really wont hurt anything, it's just that you have the possibilities of a spark starting a ground fire since it doesnt go through the muffler. I wouldnt see where it would help performance. Keep an eye out for any aftermarkte silencer. Modquad has 2 of the Hotseat silencers that he would part with. Send him a message and see what he says.Bubba
