Yamaha blue plastic blimish fix!
#1
For all you Yamaha owners with un-slightly blimishes and stress marks on your plastic!
I saw this in on of the dirt bike mags. Take a heat gun (used for shrink-wrap for wiring) and heat up the plastic in the stress mark. After about 5-10 second you will see the white turn to blue (depending of the heat of the gun). This trick makes the plastic look almost new and makes a huge difference in the looks of you bike! Its a good tip...I tried it with my CR500 before I ditched it. It works...I used a heat gun I found at Harbor Freight and it did the job.
