From what my dealer said, they did just make 1000 of them, but all frames came off the same assembly line, with the different plastic put on different quads. So there really isn't any number order, from what I understand.

Its a scientifically proven fact that the black plastic is much faster that the slower tame grey plastic......its all in the photonics.
TLD Decals are much more aerodynamic too with the straight back wind tunnel tested striping.
And the red front sprocket chain guard too. Gains you 1/4 horse right there.
TL plastic is sooooo much nicer looking IMHO, and it'll be interesting to see what the 2004/2005 models come in, Red plastic, yellow, blue? who knows.
I'm digging my Black TL plastic though, although it show scratches, it looks simply wicked.
Check out my gallery to see for yourself.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there is one big difference between the TLD Pred and the regular Pred other than the plastic and decals, the PRICE.
A while back, I read a Thread asking how hard it would be to get replacement plastic for the TLD Pred if it was to get damaged. Does anyone know if it is available? If it is, since there is no designated numbering system, wouldn't it then be possible to buy the TLD plastic and put it on a regular Predator?

Heapster, it's also a proven fact that Hooter's girls prefer the black too!! hehe. By the way, stop by your local Walmart and get some 3M marine vinyl protectant. Wipe it on, leave it alone for about 15-30 mins, and touche' shiny black and protected from the sun.
