is polaris going to drop the sp500 from there lineup? and how will that effect everything? i was thinking that was the atv i would get if i get the money sometime.

 

I heard they were putting the 700cc 2-stroke Liberty engine in the Scramblers...wait, I can't remember what happend after that...oh yeah, I woke up.

I heard some rumors about them dropping the Sp500 also. But like I said, all I heard were rumors, so who knows.

 

Well it is on the model list for the 2004 Year, So I would think that dropping it
is not going to happen, Beside it is Polaris's Number 1 Seller

 

I can see a design update coming sometime in the next year or two, they have been practically unchanged since they came out. I can see AT LEAST the addition of the park feature, and moving the 4wd mechanism from the hub to the center gearcase like on the 700. We can also hope for a little weight reduction, maybe?

Just kidding, I'm a Honda guy. But, for Polaris people, that's a stupid idea to get rid of the 500 in their lineup. If I was buying a Polaris, that's the one I would get, doesn't mean that I will get one!!
