Default Sportsman 500 HO Camshaft Failure

Who carries cams for Sportsman 500 HO? The exhaust side on a 2002 with 150Hr's worn out. The service manger at our Polaris dealer told us to it would happen we thought he was joking. Would like to have a after market. Hard to give Polaris $230.00 +

Don't, and I repeat, DON'T buy an AAEN cam. They are reground, out of tolerance. The one I had was 50/thousands out of round on the bearing journal, and the vibration, I assume, is what caused the compression release ball bearing retainer to fly out, along with the ball bearing, wrecking the motor. Specifically the lower rod bearing was trashed..... Really poor product, and it cost $250.

Check out Web Cams. I have seen the 500 cam and the 700 cam, and they make a nice piece. Have a friend runing the 500 cam in a non HO machine, and It will run with my 2001 HO.

Sorry not sure of web site
