Just had my first ride with the dampener on this weekend. Lots of hillclimbing and some seriously rough, rocky trails at high speeds. While riding you really don't notice much difference, but each time we stopped I noticed my shoulders didn't ache like they usually do. It doesn't take much to make my shoulders hurt (banged up from years of lifting weights and surgery), but this is easily the best they have felt after a hard ride. This is also the first time I've ever gotten up on a Monday morning without sore shoulders. Well worth the $150 and a pretty easy install also.
