I saw a bunch of other peoples write ups and i was wondering how do you make my 87' honda 200 trx sx go faster..... mine is older than the others so you have to walk me through the steps on how to make it go faster. Something to do with the choke isn't it??

I don't know how many mods are out there for this old of an ATV.

I'd just looking into a FMF pipe, rejetting the carb, and changing the air box.

That's about all you can really do.

DG and Cobra are the only companies who make an exhaust for it. I would get the cobra, a friend has one on his 300ex and its way faster than my FMF.
A cam maybe would help as well, bore it out, high compression piston.

ATV_MAN,
You might try venting your air box, adding a better filter as someone suggested, pulling your main jet to verify the size in case you need to rejet later, and contacting some of the advertisers in some atv magazine to see what's available in a pipe/silencer for your ride. Until you do some or all of these things, there's no point in rejetting. Realistically, there is not going to be a huge difference in performance with these changes but they will make some improvement

Open up the air box, put a K&N filter, then a after market pipe. Just a few suggestions to start with.
