After being less then satisfied with ATV grip selection I started thinking what else uses grips? BICYCLES! So I found a nice pair of BMX grips at my local bike shop. $12, made by ODI, 2tone soft rubber, and the same diameter holesfor the handlebars. They had a few styles to chose from. They even came with plastic end protectors, that I had to modify for my Renthal bars. Another tip, try hairspray when installing grips. Happy trails.

I took a pair of dirtbike twist throttle grips and cut the big circle on then end off the one where my throttle is. It works ok even though I went and bought a pair made for thumb throttle anyway.

Even better than hairspray for holding grips is make sure bars are 100% clean and install with just a touch of Windex. Then let sit overnight, mine are super stuck on the bars.

THe best thing to do to put grips on is to go to the local golf store (my dad plays golf). Get the solvent that they put their grips on the clubs with and spray it on there. Dont be afraid to use too much. I filled the grip with it and it went on so easy. It dried in about 5 min.
