Default Stainless Brake lines for 2000 Scrambler

I want to upgrade my stock rubber brake lines on my 2000 Srambler. The 2002 comes with stainless and noone can tell me if I the 2002 lines and directly replace my rubber lines. I've been to Partsland.com to check if the calipers had the same part#'s then I could of assumed that maybe the fittings were the same but the numbers were different, that sucked. Any info on this or where to get lines would be greatly appreciated!

I would think they should be the same(direct bolt on).Try going to PolarisIndustries.com and go to the tech section and click on the parts breakdown for your bike.

You'll need to change out the junction block. That's up front where all the lines split off (if you queeze your brake lever on and off, you'll hear the brakelight switch clicking, that'll help you locate it). You'll need the new lever/master cylinder assy. The lines bolt into the same brake calipers. A great improvement on braking power. Oh yea, change out the foot pedal/master cylinder as well.

Just got off the phone with Polaris and I was told the same thing. The new lines will work with the calipers but everything else has to be replaced. Thanks

Why would the junction box have to be replaced?

Is there an aftermarket company that makes braided brake lines that do not require everything else to be change?

How much does it cost to change everything? How much to for the complete conversion, including braided lines?

Can a brake split kit be added after converting to the braided lines?

Do the brake split kits come with braided lines or rubber (for the front brake lever)?

I'm sure there are aftermarket units, but you won't even come close to the bargain deal prices Polaris has on those lines. They must've bought a huge shipment, cause those are much cheaper than any other stainless lines I've ever seen. You can mix and match and split the lines. You'll notice a great improvement in braking performance.
