Hey I was just wondering what you guys/gals think about the Kodiak 450 (pros and cons)? I might be getting this as my next quad. Also, how does it compare with the Grizzly? Would it be better to just save my money up and buy the Grizz? Thanks for the help!

 

First off I just plain LOVE my 450[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. It has all the bells and whistles: disc brakes, lcd display. locking diff. Anyways I bought the Kodiak over the Grizzly because it just didn't occur to me that I would need a 600+ lb machine, I mean sure the Grizzly is nice and it has IRS and that 660cc motor but for what i do the 450 honks along just fine. My kodiak with diff lock and the help of the winch climbed some pretty sick hills IE a 75 degree angle river bank. My bear tops out at about 85 km/h Im not sure what that is in MPH but I think its pretty good for a 450 considering the Grizzly tops out at 105Km/h. Overall this is a rock solid machine. But if you feel the need to have IRS and 660cc's go for the grizzly, either way its a win-win situation [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
