Just found and bought an 86 ARTICCAT 530 twin cyl sled. This is gona by fun. The guy I bought it frum gested it has abought 110 hp. Said he had it up just a little over 100 mph. Banshee boys........look out. Its gonna take a few mouths to convert, but will be all worth it . If anyone has any good info please post it ........Thanks

the only good info I can come up with at the moment is, I hope you have a good helmet! And a digital camera so we can see this contraption. I'm pretty psyched to see this thing. I knew a guy way back when who put a sled motor on a go-kart, it was absolutely suicidal! I've also seen a Suzuki quadrunner 230 with a lengthened frame to fit a Honda 750 4 cylinder street bike motor in it.
you might need wheelie bars!

somebody on this forum had an old Kawasaki Mojave with a KX500 big bore in it, said it would smoke Banshees. It was wicked cool.

a snowmobile engine is the best way to gain some major power. not to say you wont be fast but i doubt that motor can put out 110 hp unless it is ported and piped. i had a 440 that made 60-70 hp and ran 105 mph and my current 800 cc that is 140 hp can only run 85 mph. good luck with the project i wish i could do one. but i wouldnt throw that 110 hp number around. i am sure you could find the real number on the net if you know what sled it came out of. have fun dave

There was a guy on this forum, I think his name is 800twin, that had an 800 twin sled motor in his trailblazer. If you could get ahold of him somehow then that would be very helpful to ya.
