Jetting Question

Default Jetting Question

I was wondering how to tell what my carb is jetted at? I have a pipe so it is not stock, and i wanted to change it for summer riding. Also what should I change it to for summer??

Default Jetting Question

your going to have to pull off your float bowl and take out the main jet. There is a small number stamped on the jet. I use to have a warrior and it is very simple to take off your carb and the float bowl. If you need more info let me know.

ok on my warrior i cannot get the main jet out... it is not the way it is supposed to be or something, so could u pm me w/ how to do this please??

Default Jetting Question

why cant you get your main jet out. You should be able to use a flat blade screwdrive. Did you put it in originaly? If not, it might be crossed threaded................

it is stock..i havent done anything to it. There is no slot to fit in a flathead screwdriver. On the new jets that i have to replace it they have it, so that is why i dont understand it

i tried that, thats what the mechanic at the shop said to do when i asked him.... but still nothing...i donno what to do
