Default 2003 Sportsman 400

Went to Andersons in metro Detroit today. $6008.00 OTD for the 400, the 500 HO was another $600.00, just doesnt seem worth it for the extra 5 mph top end and EBS. I thought the price on the 400 seemed a little high.

I bought mine for $5,500 OTD back in December. It had $250 worth of Polaris accessories on it too. A friend of mine negotiated the deal with the help of some info from a site named www.atvprices.com (or something like that.) He got the dealers cost and shot them a price they couldn't refuse. I think the info cost $10.00.

Good luck, they are awesome machines. It will go through almost anything. I sometimes wish I would have spent the extra money on the 500 though. Can never have too much power...

Yeah the sportman 400 is a good machine but after a while you will be wanting more power. I own two sportman 400s and they are great machines but theres always a time when i wish i had more power. I'll just stick to my scrammy 400!
