Default Got to love Dealers NOT!!!!!

Well when I first got my 650 about a year and a half ago I Had a problem with belt squaking at take off so I brought it to the dealer the day after I bought it and he changed the deflection. Well that was the last time they saw it thank god because tonight I was putting a new belt on and changing deflection and when removing the pins between the sheeves I noticed there was only 3 of them. Well to make a long story short I am glad I do all my own service that way everything that happens is in a count of me and I can be more carefull to make sure everything is correct. Can't wait till they open up tuesday so I can give them a piece of my mind.

Oh I will the service manager already hates me I have had it out with him before. Thats why when we bought the other one we went to another dealer. At the same time he did the deflection he was going to put the new choke springs in and never did. I have the paper work that says he did this work under warrantry and they never put the choke springs in. I'm thinking Kawa customer service is going to want to hear this because they already have on record that I have had trouble with them. On the paper work they charged kawa for 3 shims they put in the clutch and when I took it apart there was only one, Thats funny they must of disappered some how. They probally put them on the shelf and sold them to there next victum so they made double.

If you want some good springs for your chokes, get the choke springs out of a 1994 KLR 650. The part number is 92081-1720. I put these in my 650 and it has taken care of the wimpy spring problem that the stockers have.
