Polaris Oil

I have a Sportsman 500 and going to change the oil. What brand and weight does everyone use?? Book only says their brand but know other brands have to work as good.

I use nothing but Amsoil synthetic in everything I own. Their Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 is designed specifically for recreational 4-stroke motors.

I use Mobil One 5w-30 with Fram filter. I firmly believe that oil is oil. My Scrambler is sitting in the shed now with 84 cent SuperTech oil in it, after taking a deep swim Friday.
