Default need help with my 45mm carb

Well this last weekend i hooked up my 45mm carb. Then i turned on the fuel and thats when the **** hit the fan. Fuel poured out the drain on the bottom of the carb and out the vent line on the side of the carb. Before i hooked up the carb i check the float bowl and it seemed to not be sticking so i dont think that is the problem??? Sean

try tappin on the float bowl with a wrench gently do try to get the floats to move, it really sounds like the floats are stuck.

if the bowl has been off there is the valve that the floats actuall control, i have had them come and cause the vent to over flow.

i think it was just a stuck float bowl because i took the carb back off, took off the bowl, messed with the float a little bit, hooked it back up and there was no leaking. So i pressed the start button and it started up right away. Man, i am stoked. Too bad it has the razors and sand paddles on it, guess i will have to change them out on sunday and try it out(Goin snowmobiling tomorrow) Thanks for the info. Sean
