Flipped 700SP
#1
Flipped my 700 on saturday, fortunatly all I did was crack the front rack, bend the rack extender, and bend the rack mounting bracket. It's pretty cool sight as your laying on your back watching your 800lb machine bounce over your head down hill and have it land on all four wheels. My damage consisted of a brused shoulder and some scrapes on my left leg and arm. Was wondering if anybody carries aftermarket parts or is the dealer the only choise. The dealer I bought it from really sux. I ordered a service manual for my atv, three months pass and no manual, ordered one from Polaris directly and had it 7 days. Any input would be great. Thanx.

I can relate to the Flipped 700. My wife did that with my bike, (B4 the mods) 33 miles on it. She got .3 miles on it when she flipped it over on top of herself. Great fun to do a trauma assessment on ones wife. That was in Jan. 2 surgeries later and she is still really sore. As for parts try http://www.partsland.com/ I havn't bought from them but have heard good stuff about them on the net boards.

Thanx for the responce. Hope your wife gets back to 100%. I was really lucky that all I got was a bruised shoulder. My 2yr.old son & my wife saw it happen and son is still talking about it. I'll give partsland a look and see if they have what I need.

Yea, I just went to the dealer and ordered my parts. Checked out partsland and they did't have what I needed. Thanx for the suggestion, I'll probably use them when I get around to some mods. Lucky for me I downloaded a parts manual from Polaris and had an accessory catalog because the dealer wanted to charge me more than what the catalog showed. I figure $200 wasn't too bad. Got everthing in today and just got through installing the pieces. I was able to straighten the front rack mounting bracket so I didn't need that. Also installed some A/C Delco rapid fire spark plugs, #9 and the engine starts mucho better. Hows your wife doin?

I flipped my 700 a few time and so far I was lucky no body damage (to myself). The 700 is the worst ATV regardind flipping and you have to be very carefull. I add self made S.S fuel tanck on the front rack to stable the ATV in up hills and I have ROLL BAR this roll bar SAVE my life. I am from Israel and here you have to have roll bar by law. If you would like I can email to you some pictures of my 700.
Good luck in the future
