Has anyone seen Team Yamaha at the 2000 Moose-Off Road GNCC series this year? (during the quad races) They was supposed to be supporting several riders this year, plus a prototype quad. Any idea what happened to this?????

 

I go to all of the GNCC races and there is no Yamaha supported riders on quads. What you are referring to is the rumor that was started by Mickey Dunlap several months ago. He was telling everyone he was putting together a Yamaha team when in fact it is a team supported by a company called The Great Outdoor Store which happens to be a Yamaha dealer. It seems that after he started this rumor he got a call from Yamaha and they were not to happy about what he was telling people. The only thing they have toward a prototype bike is a YZF400 motor in a Banshee frame that Bryan Baker rides.
