Anyone built up a predator in TEXAS?? I would like to see one. I would be willing to make a road trip if anyone has a bored/polished/cammed built predator.

 

14 - you might have to wait a few more months before anyone has anything built. they haven't even got the cams or cdi box out yet......

The 630 kits were canceled months ago due to the 580 putting out the same hp and revving faster. The 580 are not ready yet, but sound close.

 

14MINS, mine should be finished by this weekend, superbike 580 with ported head and valves. cams not available yet, cdi not ready either. I would love to make a road trip to texas and check out the trailer park. sounds like a ton of fun you guys are having over there. Will be at the races for sure, hopefully with cams and cdi, also have the little blue bottle for those adrenaline moments. I live in north Alabama, looks to be 10 to 12 hours from Aledo.

 

Sp700 racer- Man i bet you are excited about the 580 kit. You are the first one that i have heard building a high HP predator. We are having the big race in June. I can round up a few fast quads on any given weekend. DSmike, Rooster (alky 703 pammi) Sam coeds 760 alky NOS, craycraft 727 a few craycraft 686's and a few more. Get it done and broke in. We can ride at my place or maybe some can go to la dunes again

 

THE 630 KIT HAS BEEN SCRAPED FOR A BITTER 580 KIT FROM SUPERBIKE

 

14MINS, I will try and make that june race, should have the cams ready by then. AIRRAPTOR,
the 580 made the same power as the 630, mainly because the piston was to heavy in the 630 kit and reved to slow, the 580 revs faster than the stock piston and makes some decent numbers. Alot of metal can be removed from the 580 piston to make it alot lighter, thats a future project. I didn;t build mine with alot of compression because i run the nos from time to time. Just hope you guys don;t embarass the Predator to bad. JUst hope to make a good showing.
