I was just wondering how many of you swithched from a 400EX to a Raptor are yo happy or unhappy complaints,
reliability, handling ect........
any of you switched to it and race MX with the raptor.

 

I sold my 2000 400ex and bought a 2001 raptor because of the lack of power and no reverse on the 400ex.So far I have had no trouble with the raptor and I think it is a much better quad.The handling is not as good on the raptor but I guess you can't have everything.I am however going to trade the raptor in on a new polaris predator.Not that I am unhappy with the rappy but I just want something different.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

73 raptor no probs with your gears yet? i would sell your 01 before somtins happens. get a 02 or 03.

I have had my 01 raptor for a long time and have rode it hard with no problems at all (knock on wood).I ride in ohio,west virginia and florida in mud ,sand and water but I have always taken very good care of it.I do not let myself get all worked up over all the 01 tranny problems I just ride it and if it goes I will have it repaired.

 

I still have my 400 and I can say this , i wish i would have bought the raptor before not that the 400 has been a problem it just does not have the beens that the raptor has and as far as handling goes i have that covered with after market acc. just my opinion//
