Default Predator popping

Just an fyi for everybody having popping problems. I'v been doing tons of research before deciding on the predator so I found out from poloris R@D what the popping problem is all about. Apparently some of the CDI boxes are messed up - not all of them but alot. On the effected CDI the protection circuit goes into a soft retard at about 8500RPM before hitting a rev limit. A new CDI is at the design level that will fix the problem and will be avail via superbikeshop and rath.

Thats the million dollar question. My belief is polaris should take care of it. Another thing I noticed you are running 12t front. The same guy told me do not change the front sproket cuz it messes up ur chain tension. He says just change the rear sproket and you can attain the same result, but he highly discourages changing the front.

Sorry, that was a typo..its really a 13t front. fixed now..Well i've had no problems changing to the 13t. Most bikes run smaller or larger sprokets, i cant see why this bike would be any different!
