I was wondering all the goodies of each.. like who would win stock for stock in a 1/2 mile drag... and who would win with them both fully modded... i would like to knoe alot about each.. any input would be cool.. later

I have both and both are piped, K&N filters, and paddle tires, and when I raced the Z I gave it about a 20 yard head start and still beat it by at least 10 bike lengths up a 600 ft hill.

 

You could tie a Z400 to the grab bar of a ds and still beat another Z400 in a race. HA HA.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

z is a nice quad but not a great place to start for drag racing

 

you're trying to compare apples to oranges. Both are nice bikes, and each serve their purpose very well. They each have a different target market segment.

 

this is exactly what i keep telling my friend. He is planning on getting the z400, and think it would b a really close race.. and i try to tell him but he thinks he no everryyything about quads.. ill just have to prove him wrong on the racetrack..haha[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Actually, how big of a rocket are we talking? A Z400 with a Rocket against a DS650. I gotta go with the Z. Now we just got to figure out who would be willing to ride it, and how do we Stop it? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]


The DS is flat out faster in both acceleration and top speed, and it should be.

 

My DS could beat any Z in a drag race even in reverse ooo thats right i dont have reverse well you get the idea not a chance in he77!
