Quest 650, Outlander or some other atv???
#1
Decisions, Decisions. Any ideas on the better of the two? I like fast riding with lots of power, but I'm not totally hung up on cc's. If Bombardier only would make a 650 Outlander, my choice would be easy.
Also, any thoughts how the Quest 650 compares with other 650's like the Yamaha Grizzly or Kawasaki Prairie?

The Quest is nuts.
It pulls hard. Ive yet to see another util bike top out as fast.
But its not about speed with bikes like this. The quest is the best for sidehilling and off angle aproches. Its very stable and corners like its on rails. It also has excellent brakes that hardly ever need to be changed.
I would keep your choice between the Quest and outlander. The quest is a lot more solid and geared toward the util side of things. But it is still fun to drive and if your not a AIR NUT it will be a great bike. However the outlander really has some neat options and features that might not be worth passing up.
Its up to you and what you think you will need.
Dont worry about the engine size unless your going to do a lot of towing. The 400 in the outlander will probably pull real close to the quest and other big bore bikes.

Just bought the outlander and I have no regrets. This machine rocks right out of the crate. It is a very stable and power responsive machine.I just got back from riding with a guy with a 2002 450 Honda and he could not keep up with me on the hard pack or the snow.We also did some semi frozen river riding and he was well behind me.Believe me this guy is no slouch,I could tell he was abit pissed about the whole thing,he blamed his tires.I could see that in the snow since Im running mud lites on the outlander, but on the hard pack he should have had me.Anyways a real nice machine ,be interesting to see what this thing will do when it is broken in.
Take care all, keep the rubber side down.....Mountainman
