Default whats the deal with grizz 660s overheating?

whats the deal with them overheating and stuff? that would be annoying.

go with some engine ice,and side panel mods you'll be fine..and clean the radiator after every wet/muddy ride.

anyone else have any ideas about getting rid of or preventing the gas boiling or overheating issue?

Mine got hot one time and cut out, that was enough. I put that highlifter heat wrap around the header pipes up past the carb. Then I took off the gas tank and covered the entire bottom of it with that reflective heat tape. The kind that is foam with the aluminum backing on it or whatever. Thats all I've done, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever out of it since then. I think the biggest problem is that the exhaust is only like an inch from the carburator. Wrapping the pipe was a pain in the butt, but it was worth it.
