i would have to go with the 400 trailblazer just do to the fact that its a 400 (2 stroke) vs a 500 4 stroke, i just think the 2 stroke is much more snappy and faster than the 500, at least the 400 sports cud really get moving, and my buddy seen a 400 trailblazer walk over a 400 sport, and i would think the 400 would overrun the 500, just my 2 cents

I raced my old stock 400 scrammy 4x4 against a stock 500 4x4 scrammy. Dead even all the way through. But if the 500 were to race a 400 2x4, I belive then that the trailblazer 400 would take a small margin of win strictly with the weight savings of the lack of the 4x4. I also belive that from 2000 on, scramblers came stock with 2 less teeth in the rear sprocket than previous models. So if you are running a newer against an older version, the newer one will come out of the hole quicker.
