I'm looking to sell my full race raptor and replace it with a couple of Honda's (250R and 400EX). Let somebody else have all the Yamaha headaches, I'll gladly trade the extra power I have now for reliability.

 

thanks for the head's up on Yamaha's reliability...I'm a Honda fan and plan on getting a Honda ATV. What kind of problems are you having with your Yamaha?

 

2 years and 2 months I've replaced EVERYTHING except front wheel bearings.

I'm from Redding, Ca. Were you at the race in Willows last weekend? I too have a Raptor and a R. The R blew up at Saturdays practice, but I raced the Raptor on Sunday and did fairly well for my fat butt. I placed 6th overall. Not bad for a newbie. I was 2nd in the holeshot and spun completely around at the first corner and was in last, I had to pass 8 guys to finally place 6th. The track was alot of fun if you weren't there. I haven't had any probs with the Raptor and I've had it for over 2 years. No tranny probs or anything. I haven't ever had to adjust the clutch yet! And I ride it all the time! I do have a 310 kit coming for the R sometime soon. I can't wait!
