Default Inside rear tire lifting on Predator

I was at a motocross track a last weekend and on one of the high speed banked 180 degree corners (third gear pinned) the inside rear tire was lifting off the ground about 3 inches or so. One of my buddies noticed it so I had him take a picture of it so I could see it. Didn't polaris say this quad wouldn't three wheel? Has anybody else noticed this or was I just pushing the quad beyond its cornering limits? To be totally honest it never felt like it was unstable or out of control. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Im not trying to start anything, but when they claimed it to have no bump steer or not go on three wheels, it is because of those hard front fox shocks, and from your sig it looks like you took those off and put some walker evens on, thats probably why you are doing it.

CTRaptor has a point. The stock shocks are stiffer on the pred. The walker evens are desinged softer for CC, and not so much MX. So on the banked curves, your probably experiencing some body roll favoring to the outside front tire, causeing the inside rear to lift. Possibly tune in your preload a little stiffer on the front, and give it a little more body english and throttle around the corner to get a good flat slide around corners. I rode an MX cannondale that had the same problem. He had elka suspension on it, and it felt really soft for me. Great ride for CC, but I wouldn't ride his shock set-up MX. I was proved right when he bottomed out and hashed his new HMF muffler...he was pissed. Anyway, Stiffen the fronts a little, or just use a little more body english. Maybe a little more air in the rear tires will help the slide to.

The Predator anti-dive front end which also helps keep it from 3 wheeling only works if you are braking.

Not when riding aggressivelly with it in 3rd gear pinned. Hey, if it feels stable to you and your happy keep pinnin'it. lol

You can play with air pressure and shock setttings, maybe alittle more body english also but I would just pin it.

My Pred has stock shocks and will 3 wheel on the ice also just takes more body english.

Still working on those one wheel wheelies.

Lean on it. By the way, the geometry of the additional steering links takes care of the low bumpsteer/ feedback reduction. The thing sticks to the ground so good, yet still maitains a stable feel. Pinnin' and grinnin'!!
