could anyone with experience please help. i have a question on my new engine kit on my 88 trx 250r mx quad.
i was needing some help on my new unfamiliar carb, keihn 38mm air stryker.
what is a good starting point on my air screw setting. when i recieved it it was backed out almost all the way?
also does the choke **** by turnng it adjust the idle like a stk 34pj carb?
my engine is a ct 310 complete power package ported for mx.. i would call ct but they are not open yet and thought this may be faster.
thank you and happy motoring..

I've got the same carb on my 310. A good starting point is 2 turns out on the air screw. Idle adjustment is taken care of with the screw sticking out of the carb. It sets the slide height. You might have to turn it in nearly all the way to get it to idle. As far as jetting, start with the jets CT put in it and go from there.....those are a good starting point. Good luck.
