I'll be slapping frame and swingarm plates on the 660 soon and I was just wonder what people's opnions are as far as what is the best to get?

I've kinda been looking at the DG ones as well as the Yamaha set.

Any advice?

Stay away from the DG stuff, too soft. The GYT-R stuff is very good but the swingarm skid is overpriced. I have a PRM rear skid and it's plenty tough but anything 1/4" should be equally tough.

Go with the GYT-R engine skid and spend the extra money and get a stainless steel Pro-Tec for the swingarm.

 

I third the PRM. But I do have the gytr belly skid, it does'nt take the beating the swing arm skid does.
