Default Predator Defective Front Brake Master Cylinder!!!

Hi everyone,

For all of us who have been concerned about the dragging front brake problem on our Predators, I saw a post on the PredatorOwners.com site that addresses this issue. Apparently, at least one dealer has submitted the front brake master cylinder from an owner's Predator to the factory, and they are going to warranty it. The factory supposedly said they are aware of the front brake problems, and will be replacing his master cylinder. If the replacement still causes the front brakes to drag, then they will have to "concede" that there is a design defect and then address that problem.

I don't think anyone knows yet if this would be a recall or what. But hopefully, Polaris will do the Un-Yamaha thing and admit there is a problem, replace everyone's front master cylinder, and earn the incalculable respect and loyalty of all it customers....

Any other scoop about this would be interesting....

Take care,

JJ

Frankly, the only time I ever notice it is the first time out after having washed the machine. Even though I normally give each rotor a quick blast of brake-cleaner, and buzz around the yard to dry them off. Other than that.....the Predators flying sooo much, never causes a problem.
