Trail Boss 414 kit?

Default Trail Boss 414 kit?

Has anyone put Ritter's 414 kit on their Trail Boss? I know it has been available for awhile but I have never really heard anything about it. I was thinking it might be a good upgrade after my warranty expires. Any idea on how much of an increase it will give? Do you have to use a different cam or carb to get the full impact? Thanks for any input!

The bore kit for the 325 to 414 conversion works very well . I have probably 60 or so out there going . I had on in a trail boss frame .

With a stock exhaust on it and a cam in it it would run neck and neck with a 425 polaris .

Add porting and a pipe it will holeshot a stock 400 scrambler for 60 - 70 feet.

Frequently when doing big bore kits stud bolts get close to bores and gasket surfaces and skirt thicknesses decrease to the point of minumum . The 414 conversion leaves plenty of material in all of those places , enough room to easily bore over to 426cc.

The piston is made for us by JE.
The sleeves are done by LASCO.
The head gasket is a modified factory gasket .
We have NEVER had a gasket leak , a piston seize or break , or a sleeve crack .

Default Trail Boss 414 kit?

I'll be getting one soon. Rick, can you give us a link to the video again of the 325 racing the 414?

What's the best souce to read up on the cam timing, and other install directions necessary for this kit?

Looks like next month I'll be ordering if I can find some instructions.

Sounds great! I forgot to ask though, will it work in the 330 engine?
