Yep, that is the old style brake. I think it went away when the concentric drive was introduced. Factory would have a cover on it.

Did that brake work better than the new and improved one? The one that oo wait doesnt work at all!?

yeah it does b\c i know ur hand brake works on the back tires but ur foot brake doesnt do $hit

Im talking about how the set up was...not the actual brake plate. I dont think the plate is the problem at all.
