Default I NEED MAJOR CAM HELP!!!

ok heres the scoop, i bought the hotcams intake cam and installed it today. Everything went very smooth and it started up fine (clearance was perfect at .152mm). So i go out and do the break in, and put it back up for a while. I come back out later and start it up, go down the street to my neighbors house, turn it off, then like 5 seconds later try to start it back up and it wont start. It made this fast ticking noise and thats it. I walk it back home, and open it up, and the clearance on the intake side is WAY high! and when we try to manually turn the motor over it will only go to a certain point before it stops. I am totally confused and very worried so please help me out ASAP!!!!!!!!! (by the way it won't even go to TDC when we manually turn it)

sounds to me like you had the cam a tooth or ten off and you bent a valve the marks on the hot cams are not that good i would pull the cams hold the timing chain so it dont have any slack then pull the side cover plug and slowly turn the motor over buy hand to c if the motor will turn over and good luck if it is screewed up send it to thumper racing for a 470 kit mine rocks i just finished asembling mine and rode it a little in the street its extreemly fast and pulles the front with just a twist of the throttle in any gear without the clutch the had my motor done in twoo weeks like they promised me allso

Default I NEED MAJOR CAM HELP!!!

well the news is that as i was taking it apart, i took off the cam chain tensioner and the chain is still TIGHT AS A DRUM! the chain has to be off and kinked in there because we can't even manually turn the motor over going either way now. The valve is stuck, and i don't know how but the timing must be way off. lol, the only good thing about this is now that i will probably have to get it fixed by a shop, i might as well have them put some goodies in there. i want to take the cams out and look to see where the problem is but the chain is WAY to tight and we cant get the cams out. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks
