Just got to ride my 2000 Scrambler 400 4x4 after installing a RCR air box mod kit, HPD trail pipe, and a clutch kit (w/o hilex). I was surprised by the difference. Very happy with phase 1 of the engine mods. Next will be a Wiesco piston kit, bore .020 over, squished head, trail porting (will I need a girdling kit?), and clutching. I'd still like to figure out my Kiehin PWK carb, maybe I'll just e-bay it and bore the stock carb. Either way I think I'll stick with Rick's recommenations.

Just messing around, I put my wife's Trailblazer seat on my Scrambler. After looking at the pictures I think I like the red seat better, I'd like to try a black seat . What do you guys think of the yellow seat?

The yellow seat doesn't look to bad, but I would go with black

A girdle kit is not necessary, but is recommended with porting.
