Thanks for reading this... I have just about decided to go with the Yamaha Kodiac over the Big Bear and the entire Honda line-up. My question is for you seasoned Yamahaians. Do you suggest purchasing the extended warranty option? I typically ALWAYS stay away from extended warranties... but the standard is 6 months (I believe) and that just don't sound too snazzy to me.

Any other helpful advice would also be appreciated. Never purchased a Yamaha before. Don't know the customs with the dealership. I have been on a Honda since 1985. Also, what price (helluva price) should I shoot for- WITH a winch?

Ohh and one other quicky... I am leary of the automatic drive. Has anyone heard of any difficulties with the Kodiac and the auto tranny?

For the curios: Why switch from Honda??? Well, my uncle just purchased a BB and he loves it. So do I. Plus, I just get tired of all the Honda bikes out there. I like to see a little flavor in the woods.
