Default a couple of grizz 660 questions

I know this is an odd question but thought somone might know offhand.
About how wide is a Grizz 660? Would one fit in the bed of an 89 Chevrolet sportside pick up? I’m thinking it probably won’t.

I posted this in the other forum but thought you guys might have some input as well.
Going to be using a Yamaha 660 Grizz for mowing. Which is better, a front or rear mounted mower?
Looks like the front mounted types may be a bit easier to maneuver.
Any brands to look at or stay away from?

Mower will be used for a fairly rough yard (doesn't have to be golf course perfect) and some trail use.

Well I don't know exactly how wide the griz is but if you ever seen tri-fold ramps for atv's, well it rides on the outside of them, on a F-250 8ft bed it doesnt go over the wheelwells, it drives inbetween and there is room in the back, im not sure what bed your truck has but it should fit, just may get a little tricky. As for the mower I'm not real strong in this department either but I would think that the rear would be better for mowing, may be a little harder to manuever but at least you know what you're mowing, you can see rocks or stumps before the mower goes over them, i may be wrong but just my ideas,

Patrick

I would figure with stock tires it would fit. I'm pretty sure that the bed of a stepside is the same width as the between the fender wells of a flareside, and my 660 fits between them pretty easy with stock tires. It should fit in there dude. If it was an S10 or a Ranger stepside, no way, but with a full size pickup, you should be able to get it in there for sure.
