Hey,

anybody know of some good places to ride in eastern NC? i just got a quad so i can go riding with my crew now. they usually go to either wilmington or a place around goldsboro. poole rd in raleigh used to be great, but it's closed now due to the new hwy. any other places?

Western NC, but not eastern

Ive been to a neat sand pond in wilmington

but it is way too small and hard to find to even bother

I live in Wilmington and usually ride in the green swamp. There are miles and miles of dirt roads. If you want ot ride sometime let me know. Most of the roads are in pretty good shape so you can run wide open if you want. That's really the only good place I know of close by.

You can ride in Bailey NC. Its about 45 min south of Raleigh and about 30 minutes from goldsboro. Need more info, email me at rwhite66@***.net

 

I live in Wilson. We ride the Bailey trails alot. We hit Croatan Ntl Forest on occasion, but that's about to come to an end from what we've been told lately. Most of the riding we do is in the western part of the state. If any of you are interested, myself and quite a few others are planning a trip to Brown Mt on July 4th and camping there that weekend also.
