Default Not impressed with Local Polaris dealer

Ok, I went to my local Polaris dealer to test their knowlege on Clutch Kits. The parts department only had EPI kits listed in their big aftermarket snowmobile/atv catalog. They didn't mention Hot Seat, HPI, Aaen, and some of the other kits I've heard mention. Also, I asked about Polaris clutch upgrades and they didn't think they made them.

The service guy said he didn't think it would be worth it. Said they don't work for 600/700s, but might be ok for a Scrambler.

Should I be scared to ever let them work on my Scrambler?

The reason I ask, I couldn't walk 5 feet at the dealer where I bought my Scrambler without someone saying "did you get a clutch kit" or "you should get a clutch kit". I thought it was just a ploy to make me spend more money, but I taked to their service guy and he said they would really bring the Scrambler alive and save my belt.

Weird that a Polaris dealer was so clueless on Clutch Kits!

That's why you research the dealer b4 spendin yer hard earned cash.. I'm kinda lucky, we have 10 dealers within an hour & 1/2 of here,... I always buy from the same guy, yr after yr,... get to know someone higher up than the counter-monkey,... it makes alotta diff on the type of service/advice/cost.
