Default Valve Questions for the 4 Strokers.

Heya all, Just a generic valve adjustment question...

I was attempting to check my valves. And was wondering what technique you guys use? IE: A feeler in the middle of the high and low spec, (ie: .007 - .009, use a .008?) slide under and adjust? I am always second guessing it and when i get it back together i think i hear more noise... ! hehe (could be me ole mind?) How much tap is acceptable to the ear?

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

You should be ok at .008 better loose than tight too tight and it wont run good a litle noise and you know they are working.

if it is between .007-.009 i like to go a tight .009. this is on my mojave of course because instead of the valves loosening and ticking they suck into the head and hit the piston.
