AC 400i vs Outlander 400 h.o.
#1
Does anyone have experience with these two machines? I like the 400i and am just comparing what is on the market. (i still like the 500i too ) I have looked at both machines but have not ridden either one. Just trying to keep all the options open. Also what is the biggest tires I could put on without losing too much power. I like the "mud lites" but am hearing good things about the long wear and traction on the "trail wolfs". Has anyone heard of these before?
Thanx for any and all input,

COME ON GUYS/GALS:
I need some help.
I WANT TO STAY IN THE PRIDE but with no answers here I may have to go with the only information I am getting from the Bombardier site. They sure talk up their machine does anyone have a 400i they want to talk up? PLEASE tell me about your 400i or any info you may have otherwise. Yes I have sat on it in the showroom but have not had a chance to ride it YET, but hope to before I actually buy. The Outlander dealer says I can take HIS personal machine out for a whole day if I want, so I should get a good feel for that machine (he has 26 inch Mud Bugs on it). Hope the AC guys can do the same.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT??

Can't talk about the outlander 'cause I never saw one. Own a 400i auto and I absolutely love it. I think the selling points for the ac are ground clearance, rack capacity, and towing capacity. Also, its a proven design, I'm not one to be an experimenter though. The only downside on my ac is the fuel consumption (50 +- miles to 4.25 gal.), however, I plan on rejetting the engine to take care of that. The other advantage I saw was cost. I bought mine for $5300 out the door at Wheels USA in Oxford, MI and that price included a 2500 # Warn winch. I firmly believe that the ac is the most bang for the buck. Hope this helps!
2003 400i auto
2500 lb Warn winch
Heated grips and throttle
Rack extensions F&R
Dual tool holders
Third headlight
Combination hour meter and Tach
Hand guards
Fender flair extensions
Tank bag
Front brush guard
Rear bumper
..........and still less than $6200
