Default Outlander 400 h.o. vs AC 400i

Does anyone have experience with these two machines? I like the 400i and am just comparing what is on the market. I have looked at both machines but have not ridden either one. Also what is the biggest tires I could put on without losing too much power. I like the "mud lites" but am hearing good things about the long wear and traction of the "trail wolfs". Has anyone heard of these before?

Thanx for any and all input,

shmoky

This was the choice I made between these two, Outlander has much better front diff, better ride, much more power & speed vs 400i has more ground clearance, cheaper. I'm very happy I chose the Out although the 1 major downfall I can find is the " slip the belt clutch " to get under way.

I have had my Outlander for about a month now and I love it. It really hauls and it quite nimble. My buddy has a 400 artic cat and it goes well but the suspension is nothing to compare. I am happy I got the Outlander. I have the 25'' mudlights on it and can still hit well over 60mph if I have enough road to do it.
