What sprocket sizes did dirt wheels mention again in last months or the months before issue

it was 17-38 but that would be a very high top end. but the 16-42 is wrong unless they are changing the stock gearing, it has been 16-40. i ran 17-40 for awhile and i seldom hit fifth. for the dunes we run much lower gearing.

 

I tried the 17/38 and I didnt like it at all. Way too tall for dirt. It would probable work on pavement. I ran a 17/40 and I could just barely hit 5th in a 1/4 mile. I tried a 15/40 and lost 7 mph. Stock on dirt seems to be the best for me. 17/40 for pavement 1/4.
