Hey fellas, ever since I got my stage III back & running I've been using 112 octane Cam II, anyone elso use this stuff? The reason I ask is because it has a lead substitute and I was wondering if this will harm anything?

 

lead is a cooling agent and will only leave a very small residue after log term use(no problems)

it has helped everything put it in so far

 

I run the "76" 100 octane unleaded. I was told to run unleaded and this is the best stuff I could find in my area.

 

So far only 93 octane has been in my tank

 

With my stage III I've really enjoyed the Ult4 (other than the cost)...unfortunately I can't find any in Oklahoma...101 octane is readily available...may just have to run alky.

 

fresh 93 works best for me... sometimes i run a little mystery oil in there to make me feel better[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I run trick 114, seems to do pretty good, plus it smells nice [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

114 octane will acually make you lose power unless you have compression a bit over 14:1... run one of your buddies up a steep hill with even holeshots and see how straight 114 does ,,then drain the gas and run 100 unleaded and do the same to see the difference.. tooo high of octane sometimes will not fire right in combustion chamber accually causing a loss in power..

 

sometimes i use mystery oil too, but the wife says she dont need it ......ha
