Default Wiesco piston?

Anyone using, used or have any good or bad info on wiesco pistons for the raptor? I have a friend that runs the wiesco pro-lites in his banshee, he has had the same pistons in for a year and a half without any problems, on put new rings one time while it was apart getting ported.

Any information or suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Wiseco Raptor pistons are not quite as light as JE. Also the Wiseco pistons seem to smoke ecspecially during cold weather during startup on 4strokes until they reach normal operating temperature. Just my experiences.

Thanks, I didn't know that the JE's were lighter, I am finding out very good info now.

What about the smoking, why is this?

thanks

It has to do with the clearances of the pistons. After the piston and cylinder heats up it exspands; therefore making the clearances smaller and oil seal is back to normal. Then the smoking stops.
