Here's the scoop, correct me if I'm wrong! After two days of gathering Specifications on various ATV's, I conclude that the Eiger is absolutely the best buy for the dollar! The length, width, heighth, ground clearance , and cc's are unmatched in a package deal!? Personally, I haven't seen one in person, but I am currently leaning towards this ATV, followed by a Honda Foreman S. But, I'll bet the Eiger is great demand, therefore, most dealers won't deal, thus substantial sustaining the cost close to MSRP??? What do you think, am I right / wrong, or don't know what I'm talking about??? Especially, since I'm a first time ATV buyer.

You are right in your assessment on the Eiger's value and wrong in thinking that there are no deals to be made. That's the good news.

There is no bad news.

Go get an Eiger. Expect to pay $200 to $500 below MSRP. If ou find a dealer who will not deal, move on to the next town with a Suzuki dealer. Avoid dealers who want to pad with set-up fees, filing fees, shipping fees etc. Even if you figure in shipping, you should still pay well below MSRP.

I payed $4150 for my daughters in Feb. It's 4X4 auto. (I think their the way to go and have never had a problem with an auto besides a belt every 1000 miles or so.) It was a new 2002 though. No difference in the 2003's so I took the $300 difference. It's a great quad for the $$. Low end torque, lite steering, and a good EBS system for the hills. The only bad thing is tires are lousey. Going to change them to Dirt Devils. You'll definitelly like it. Call around deals are out there.

Ijust picked my new 03 4x4 manual with a warn winch installed for 600 can less than msrp. By the way many thanks to all of you that replyed to my various posts during the research period. I'm very impressed so fa, just a little anxious to get through the first 10 hours so i can really check out this awesome motor. I spent about a month to research this purchase and must agree that the Eiger is the best current value on the atv market. Good luck

Yea you guys did your homework and made the right choice, I myself researched it for about 6 months and came up with the Eiger. As for Auto or Manual I have to admit I was those guys that would always say Manual is better and Auto's suck, but I bought an Auto for my wife but its mine now (thats another story) after about 2 hours I knew I would never want to go Manual again, just my opinion, Manual is fine for work, but for play get an Auto.
